Shakespokes - gentle cycling

Formed to provide a voice for cyclists in the Stratford-upon-Avon area, Shakespokes is a club (affiliated to the Cyclists Touring Club) promoting cycling for health, leisure and pleasure - seeking better conditions for cycling, safer roads, and more people on bicycles.

Shakespokes contributes to the Stratford-upon-Avon Cycle Forum 

Leisure Rides

On the First and Third Sundays of each month throughout the year there are organised rides where everyone is welcome. They usually start at the American Memorial in Stratford-upon-Avon Market Place at 0930 - just turn up and join in!

UPDATE 28 Feb 10 : There will now be rides EVERY Sunday until further notice - usual time & start venue.

ALL Shakespokes rides are open to everyone (subject to Shakespokes Club rules)

There is a Shakespokes membership fee of £10.00 per year (1 January - 31 December) or a Temporary per ride membership of £0.50 - to defray the modest costs incurred for affiliation, insurance, website etc.
