Shakespokes : Stratford Cycling

MEET AT 0930 for 0940 start at The Market Place (American Fountain)

Destination/route : Earlswood - approx 42 miles - the intention will be to pick up the pace of riding a little, no racing - just to cover the ground more quickly.  If there is a large turn-out of riders we will split into two groups.   Indicative Map

To simulate the BIG ride we will have a roadside 11s stop - so bring your drink and snack of choice.

UPDATE - Friday 26 March - Andy is probably unavailable so Rob will lead and the destination will be Earlswood Craft Centre (coffee/early (brief) lunch - or bring a picnic)

The distance/time will depend on the number and ability of riders on the day - it is expected that there will be a lunch stop!

ALL Shakespokes rides are open to everyone (subject to Shakespokes Club rules)

This ride is planned to be one in the series of "training" rides for entrants in the Stratford-to-Stratford Ride being organised by the Mayor of Stratford-upon-Avon, Jenny Fradgley, to raise funds for The Parkinson's Disease Society - riding (over two days, with full support) from Stratford, London E15 to Stratford-upon-Avon on 1-2 May 2010.
